Paul's Version

Did you know that in a city of close to 600,000, Paul and Sacha actually lived 2 doors apart for close to a year?  Did you know that each and every morning they stopped at Sorelle's Bakery , the only local coffee house in Charlestown for their morning brew?  Did you know they took the same #92 bus to work daily?  Did you know as runners they ran the same course along the Charles River?  So how did they eventually meet you ask?  Do you think there were forces of fate working to have their worlds collide?  What would it take?

Paul says that recent life events at that time steered him towards Crate & Barrel to fill some available time, make some money and perhaps furnish his bachelor pad along the way.  Crate had a fun crew so it was fun to work there he says, but it wasn't long until he saw something special in one of his colleagues that made it even more fun to work there!  Paul confesses that he was ahem, 'careful' in his approach, as there was competition on the scene you see, an ailing boyfriend, so Paul had to be the listener and advisor and try remove this guy 'with the BMW' from the situation, without seeing Sacha hurt.  Herein lay the plot!  Fellow Crate crew and Irish Aer Lingus friends and former colleages who happened to be in town that fateful night, descended on the Christmas party intent on distracting said competition whilst Paul tore up the floor with Sacha.  It was an amazing night and ended all too soon, but he knew.......

He skips a few months for some reason to the following May, telling the story of the night before Sacha departs on a girls vacation.  He is sitting on the pavement on Boylston Street, after a Crate shift about 11pm and nervously calls her.  He recalls a group of strange girls sit around him and take some photo's while he interrupts Sacha and her packing, setting the date for the next and final rendezvous of his single life and he has not looked back.

Sacha is my soulmate he says.  They joke with 'get out of my head' as all too frequently they splurt out the same comment at the same time.  We love and are passionate of like things, have similar interests, similar humor, are infused with the same ambitions and driven to succeed.  Paul feels that he has truly found 'home' in Marblehead and looks forward to having a a happy and healthy life there with noone other than Sacha.
